Attend FAMU for two years while playing baseball and making All America Team. Sign a Professional Baseball Contract with the Los Angeles Angels in 1961.Played Baseball for Eleven years. Return to FAMU to complete my undergrad in Elementary Education. graduated in 1972. Acquired a Master Degree in Adult Education in 1975. Coached in college at FAMU for 17 years. Scout and Minor league Manager with The Atlanta Braves from 1990 to 2006. Married Shirley Lucas in 1983. Have two children.
