Played 12 years in the Major Leagues for the Montreal Expos, Minnesota Twins, Philadephia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles & Boston Red Sox.

ROBERT LUCAS:

Born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1943. Attend Public School System and Graduated From New Stanton High School in 1959. Attend FAMU for two years while playing baseball and making All America Team. Sign a Professional Baseball Contract with the Los Angeles Angels in 1961.Played Baseball for Eleven years. Return to FAMU to complete my undergrad in Elementary Education. graduated in 1972. Acquired a Master Degree in Adult Education in 1975. Coached in college at FAMU for 17 years. Scout and Minor league Manager with The Atlanta Braves from 1990 to 2006. Married Shirley Lucas in 1983. Have two children.
