ENTRY AND ONLINE PRCEDURES

Teams MUST enter the Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Nationals online at USSSA.com. CLICK HERE to get started. You will need your USSSA Team Manager Login I.D. & Password and a credit / check card to secure payment. Make sure to enter your team in the correct age division & classification. After completing the online payment process USSSA.com will electronically notify the Tournament Director and your entry is guaranteed. Entry deadline for the  Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Nationals is Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM pending prior sell out. All openungs are first come first served with full payment.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Teams that are traveling to a MGBA tournament are required to stay in one of our host hotels.

Some Facts for 2012

• 8U – 13U Opening Ceremony with the Atlanta Braves @Turner Field Friday June 29, 2012– 7:30pm Atlanta Braves vs Nationals
• 14U – 18U Opening Ceremony with the Atlanta Braves @Turner Field Thursday July 5, 2012– 7:30pm Atlanta Braves vs Cubs
• Ages 8U Coach Pitch, 9U – 13U A, AA,AAA and Major,  Games Played June 29-July 1 ,2012 And the 14U-18U Game Played July 6-9, 2012.
• 8U -13U First game Friday morning June 29, 2012 (Games will end in time for all teams to attend the Braves game.)
• 14U – 18U First game Friday morning July 6, 2012
• Championship Games July 1, 2012 for agaes 8UCoach Pitch -13U
• 14U -18U Championship games July 9, 2012 at Turner Field
• 4 Game Guarantee awarding USSSA Nationals Points
• The opportunity for the 14U,16U and 18U teams to play their championship games at Turner Field, home of the National League’s Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves on July 9, 2012
• Individual & Team Activities and LOTS MORE!
• 8U – 13U Games will be played at Walton County Parks- Criswell Park and Grissom Field of Dreams.
• 14U -18U Games will be played at various fields and High Schools

The 2012 Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Nationals fees for the boys baseball teams include:

• ALL teams will receive 10 complimentary tickets to the Braves game. As a very special treat, all participating teams will be featured in the Smoltz-Grissom Parade of Teams Opening ceremony with the Atlanta Braves.
• The opportunity for 14U,16U and 18U teams to play their championship games at Turner Field, home of the National League’s Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves

Please note there will be no refunds for cancellations after 5/1/2012. Cancellations must be in writing. No exceptions!

Registration / Ticket and order Pick up

8U – 13U – When: Thursday June 28 and Friday July 29 from 9 a.m. until 6 pm

14U- 18U – When: Thursday July 5 and Friday July 6 from 9 a.m. until 6 pm

Where: Atlanta Marriott Airport Hotel

What to Bring: a clear copy of the teams registered USSSA Baseball roster and a copy of the registration receipt

Gate Fee

NO individual admission!!!

ALL Teams will pay a $150.00 TEAM GATE FEE that will
cover every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling…EVERYONE that comes
to support your team! With individual admission, the average 12 player team
can pays in upwards of $350 for the weekend. Out $150.00 TEAM GATE FEE will
save each team $200.00 over the entire weekend! Just another effort by the
Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Nationals to help your team’s budget!

AT REGISTRATION ALL GATE FEES MUST BE PAID….

BRAVES TICKETS, ORDERED WOOD BATS, T-SHIRTS AND ADDITIONAL ORDERS WILL NEED TO BE PICKED UP DURING REGISTRATION.
